Triple concert with Sylvie Courvoisier and Embryo.
A meeting of two jazz greats: Evan Parker was one of the first protagonists of European free jazz. Pianist Sylvie Courvoisier entered the jazz scene much later - in the mid-1990s. Since 2014, the two have regularly entered into a musical dialog that makes the instruments a minor matter: This is about voices and emotions.

Parker and Courvoisier's age difference of 25 years is not noticeable in this community of conviction, as both have left deep traces in jazz history. They complement each other with almost deceptive magic: never ist it possible to say with certainty who will give which cue in this lively dialog, who will trigger which theme or challenge a calculated reaction with a spontaneous action. The duo recorded the album »Either Or And« back in 2014, followed a year later by »Miller’s Tale«, a quartet album with Mark Feldman and Ikue Mori. Parker and Courvoisier always have much more to tell themselves and their audience than they suspect at the beginning of a performance. It is precisely this reliability of the unpredictable that makes their performances so exciting.
