Trigger warnings
The Leipzig Jazz Days should be a wonderful experience for everyone.
Certain sensory stimuli can be overwhelming, stressful or even retraumatizing. Advance information on possible triggers is intended to help affected persons prepare for a concert visit and decide for themselves whether they can or want to expose themselves to the stimuli.
Our trigger warnings include:
- "Trigger warning: Use of strobe light."
For concerts in which strong flashes of light and flickering light are used. - "Trigger warning: Above-average volume."
For concerts where the volume can be above average. - "Trigger warning: Use of fog."
For concerts where fog machines are used.
Where can I find the trigger warnings for the respective concerts?
On our website, we provide information in the program items (see program) about whether triggering light or fog effects and high volume are used.
At the respective events, we will also issue trigger warnings with notices in the venue.
For the concerts where the volume can be above average, you can protect yourself with Oropax, which we provide at the merch stands.
