Active since the 1990s, the HMT Big Band, under the direction of flautist and composer Rolf von Nordenskjöld, has long since become a permanent institution on the Leipzig jazz scene.

The Rainald Brederling Quintet formed in Weimar in the summer of 2018. In keeping with the times, the band embarked on a search for itself - or rather for Rainald. Because he has disappeared.
