"Don't tell me more, tell me less": Interview with CEL

In the run-up to their appearance at the 48th Leipziger Jazztage, we had the opportunity to talk to CEL. Behind the name are Hamburg-based Dada enthusiast and jack-of-all-trades Felix Kubin and Warsaw-based percussionist Hubert Zemler. Together, they talked about the extent to which the festival motto "Tell me...!" can be applied to their music. They also talked about how they categorize their sound in the spectrum between composition and improvisation.
