It's been a remarkable journey so far for Chicago-born vibraphonist Joel Ross, born in 1995. Since the release of his Blue Note debut, "KingMaker," in 2019, he has gained worldwide recognition. The New York Times placed him on its coveted "Best Jazz of 2019" list, while Rolling Stone included him in its annual "Jazz Listeners Guide."

With first-class musicians, whom he also met along the way, "Good Vibes" was formed - a band that shows the strong influence of Ross' hometown Chicago and the jazz scene there. The quartet presents an agile musical group dynamic. The four musicians are in constant exchange, moving away from and towards each other, making surprisingly spontaneous connections that capture the audience's attention.
