From Berlin to Gdańsk and back: the duo Gołos x Jasinka has currently become the electro-acoustic insider tip of the young German-Polish jazz scene.

Since their joint debut album "imho" in 2021, pianist Emilia Gołos and singer Zuza Jasinska have been moving at the intersection of tonal and atonal sounds, between jazz, folk, and experimental music. But it was above all their numerous live concerts, characterized by a special intimacy, that contributed to the duo recently causing quite a stir on the international stage. 

When the nominees for the German Jazz Award were recently announced, it probably came as no surprise to anyone that Jasinka's name was among them. And so it can be assumed that the duo will leave its insider tip status behind with the release of its second album, which is due out shortly.  

But all that is still a long way off: before that happens, Gołos x Jasinka will be making a detour to Leipzig to perform in our "Jazzclub .
