Prices
Our Flashback enters its 36th round: this time the works of Louis Bellson and Sammy Nestico take center stage, brought to new life by the HMT Big Band.
Until his death three years ago, Nestico was regarded as one of the outstanding arrangers of the contemporary big band sound, who also worked beyond the jazz genre for greats such as Phil Collins and Frank Sinatra. Louie Bellson was one of the most important big band drummers and, in addition to his own work as a composer and arranger, was active in the bands of Benny Goodman and Count Basie, among others. Under the direction of Rolf von Nordenskjöld, the HMT Big Band will pay tribute to his music.
