Lisbeth Quartet

So young, so experienced. February starts with a special concert at the naTo. The four-piece, highly acclaimed ensemble "Lisbeth Quartett" around composer and saxophonist Charlotte Greve releases its fifth album on Intakt Records with "Release". We are very happy that the band makes a stop with us in Leipzig!

After twelve years and five albums, Greve, who was awarded the 2022 German Jazz Prize in the category Artist:in of the Year National, relied on her intuitive sense to create music for the new album. Together with her virtuoso band members, she creates an album full of multi-layered pieces that embody lightness, gentleness, emotionality and power at the same time.
Lisbeth Quartett have already caused quite a stir as up-and-coming jazz talents in recent years - with "Release" they pick up where they left off.
