STEGREIF.orchestra "#freebrahms"
TIP
Classical music without sheet music or conductor, but with bobble hats, big band and improvisations. Classical music performed by hip people in hip places, the free scene instead of institutions. Since 2016, the Impromptu Orchestra has been making a big splash under the artistic direction of Juri de Marco. Composer Wolf Kerschek, director Theresa von Halle and trumpeter Markus Stockhausen like that. They support and inspire the ensemblet. The Startup Music Prize Berlin is already in the impromptu showcase, and a techno symphony is planned for the near future. But for now it's #freebrahms. After Beethoven and Schubert have already been "freed", it's now Johann Sebastian Brahms' turn (haha), more precisely his 3rd Symphony. The concert hall, the auditorium - everything becomes a stage. The 30 musicians try to uncover the avant-garde spark of the 133-year-old bars. They move through the room and get close to the people with their sound performance.
