10 years Spielvereinigung Sued
TIP
On March 26, 2008, yes, you're quite right: exactly two days after the European Swimming Championships in Eindhoven, a colorful bunch of young musicians gave their first concert at the naTo in Leipzig. And because it was so nice, the young gentlemen kept coming back, about once a quarter. At first, the focus was on the big band classics, but soon it was time to invite contemporary big band composers and arrangers! John Hollenbeck came, Ed Partyka, Michael Abene, the Nilse Wogram and Klein, Rainer Tempel, Monika Roscher and so on. Because they appreciate the big band for its professionalism and for its willingness to do all kinds of logistical tightrope dances without any prospect of anything that could even be called a fee. Three albums have been produced in this way, but above all a concert series that promises a lot every single time.
For the anniversary concert (10.2 years) it now goes outside, to the spoon family, and the whole village is invited! Fittingly, the guest of the evening is also: Jan Klare (The Dorf) will trumpet his compositions based on sign language, lush grooves and sound collages already from 6 pm. In addition, there's beer, sausages - and the wish list for the next 1000 years. Hoch sollnse lehm!
