From 20.4. to 22.4.2023 the FUTURUM Festival in Leipzig will be held for the 31st time. On three days with three concerts each, up-and-coming female musicians have the opportunity to present themselves and their projects on the stages of the Moritzbastei.

TheFUTURUM Festival was founded after the fall of the Berlin Wall, then under a different name, as a meeting place for the German-German jazz scene and has since served as a platform for female musiciansunder 30 from East and West. Opportunity to remember that this is not a matter of course. Curated in a collaboration between Moritzbastei and Jazzclub Leipzig, the evenings will showcase a wide variety of contemporary jazz and improvised music. We can look forward to the next generation of first-class jazz musicians!
