    Laut & Leipzig is back - our media workshop is taking place for the third time this year. Budding music journalists will take a critical look at the concerts of the Leipzig Jazz Days and behind the scenes via text, sound and (moving) images. The media workshop is a cooperation with the Leipzig city magazine kreuzer and MDR Kultur.
    
    Music journalists Heidi Eichenberg, Sophie Emilie Beha, Ben Garit Hernandez and Jan Paersch will lead the workshops and discussions as lecturers.

Since 2011, the Kids Jazz L.E. e.V. association has been organizing the festival, which primarily promotes encounters between young people who are interested in jazz and improvised music. From March 7 to 9, 2025, young jazz musicians from all over Germany will once again meet in Leipzig. Every year, around 100 children and young people travel to Leipzig to perform together on stage. And the concerts show once again: jazz is anything but yesterday's news! - Tickets from 5 EUR plus fees
