For 13 years, the Spelunkenorchester has been on a mission to enchant dodgy pubs, Saxon opera houses and their visitors with chamber music. When a classical string quartet meets a jazz piano trio, the possibilities seem endless. Perhaps it is - string movements are followed by orchestral passages, quiet nocturnes give way to sprawling soundscapes, interwoven with fleeting improvisations.
