Merry Christmas...

and a peaceful turn of the year from your Jazzclub Leipzig!
We look back on a successful year: in over 100 concerts, 36 of them in cooperation with the University of Music and Theatre, we were able to attract more than 12000 visitors to the venues.
The Jazztage year 2017 will go down in festival history as a particularly "noble drop" - because the "guitar summit" offered great concerts and because the audience ran us into all the venues. Only two concerts were not sold out! The final concert in the packed opera house with Pat Metheny was certainly the highlight. The great popularity confirms us in our work, it shows that Leipzig is also a great "jazz city". It encourages us and at the same time gives us incentive for all future tasks.
A heartfelt thank you
to all musicians for the many beautiful concerts, for your ideas, your dedication and passion to satisfy the everlasting hunger for the present.
And to you dear audience, for your loyalty, for your open ears and your devotion;
to you, dear city of Leipzig, for the valuable support and promotion of the Jazzclub Leipzig as well as to all other sponsors who provide us financially with the basis for all our projects. Thank you dear Kulturstiftung Sachsen, for sponsoring our two festivals Leipziger Jazztage and MusikZeit.
Thank you, Munich Cultural Department, for your cooperation with the BMW Young Talent Jazz Award.
A big thank you to our main sponsors Ur-Krostitzer and BMW branch for their commitment and the associated donations, as well as
to our co-sponsors Sparkasse Leipzig and L-Group.
Thanks also to all those responsible for the many venues in which we were guests: the UT-Connewitz, the Westbad, the naTo, the Telegraph, the Liebfrauenkirche, the Kunstkraftwerk, Werk 2 and the Opernhaus. Thank you for letting us be with you, thank you for your support!
A huge thank you to you, dear official and volunteer staff, for your commitment and perseverance, without you, nothing would work here!
