Antonia Hausmann Teleidoscope

With her new project Teleidoscope, Leipzig trombonist Antonia Hausmann presents a program of her own compositions for the first time.

In her pieces, Antonia Hausmann encourages people to change their perspective and to question their own perception again and again. She incorporates diverse musical influences into her pieces - from a classical repertoire to studying jazz in Leipzig and playing in various pop bands. Hausmann has traveled extensively around the world, playing in large orchestras and small duo ensembles, breaking down and defying role clichés that she still encounters too often as a trombonist. During the pandemic and accompanying lockdown, she had more time to work on her own projects, learn a lot and develop herself. Already in 2020, she embarked on another musical path and released two tracks with her solo project Suntje, where she inspires as a singer.
