    Laut & Leipzig is back —our media workshop is taking place for the third time this year. Aspiring music journalists take a critical look at the concerts of the “ Leipziger Jazztage ” and behind the scenes through text, audio, and (moving) images. The media workshop is a collaboration with the Leipzig city magazine *kreuzer* and MDR Kultur.
    
    Music journalists Heidi Eichenberg, Sophie Emilie Beha, Ben Garit Hernandez and Jan Paersch will lead the workshops and discussions as lecturers.

Opera House

Venerable hall in the center of the city, just opposite the Gewandhaus

The Leipzig Opera was founded in 1963 as the third municipal music theater in Europe, after Venice and Hamburg, and has been the main venue for the " Leipziger Jazztage" since 1991.
