Place of the independent scene for music, theater and cinema in the south of Leipzig

Since 1982, the house has made a name for itself as a venue for alternative culture with art happenings, theater performances and free jazz concerts. In addition to the "Kultur- und Kommunikationszentrum naTo e.V.", the "Cinémathèque Leipzig e.V." has also been at home at Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse 46 since 1991.

In the program of the Leipziger Jazztage, Erika Stucky, Maciej Fortuna, Contemporary Noise Sextet, SoKo Steidle, Adam Baldych, 100nka, Baby Sommer, Peter Brötzmann, Alexander von Schlippenbach, Zach Danziger, Soweto Kinch and the Elliot Galvin Trio, among others, played at the naTo.
