    Laut & Leipzig is back —our media workshop is taking place for the third time this year. Aspiring music journalists take a critical look at the concerts of the “ Leipziger Jazztage ” and behind the scenes through text, audio, and (moving) images. The media workshop is a collaboration with the Leipzig city magazine *kreuzer* and MDR Kultur.
    
    Music journalists Heidi Eichenberg, Sophie Emilie Beha, Ben Garit Hernandez and Jan Paersch will lead the workshops and discussions as lecturers.

Until 1987, it was the main venue for the " Leipziger Jazztage " (photo from 1980), and that year it served as the ideal venue for the special concert featuring Herbie Hancock & Band.
