Formerly distilling schnapps, now indie and jazz concerts (schnapps still exists!)

The historic wine taverns of Leipzig liquor producer Wilhelm Horn near Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse are now home to exquisite indie and jazz concerts and lively parties. Since 2012, the house façade has shone again as brilliantly as it did in 1931.

In recent years, the “Stage Night Special” has always taken place here as part of the “ Leipziger Jazztage ,” showcasing the most interesting young bands from Leipzig on the festival stage (past performers have included the Niklas Kraft Quartet, the Evgeny Ring Quartet, Moritz Sembritzki & Das VIELE, Trane Disciples, Matthias Boguth’s Milk Wood, and Natalia Mateo & Band).
