For the 27th MusikZeit Jazzclub Leipzig e.V. presents on April 13, 14 and 16, 2018 artists who question the genre boundary between jazz and alternative pop music, overcome and break it - or simply deny the existence of this very boundary. Over three days, four bands will play "indie jazz." They do not understand contemporary jazz, indie rock and electronic music as separate from each other, they simply make sophisticated music away from the commercial mainstream - in other words, exactly what the term "indie music" means, namely independent (independent) music.
