Jazz for kids: Jolli sees green

The singer and educator Jorinde Jelen, together with her band for children from 5 years, tells about the animals of the forest, the exciting experiences of naturalists, but also about climate change and the dangers that come with it.

Environment, - that is first of all everything that surrounds us, everything you can feel, see and smell. There is the fresh grass tickling your toes, the little ladybug climbing up a blade of grass and the scent of the summer flowers blooming around you. Our environment is made up of many relationships between all living things, and the life and survival of all is therefore closely connected. We humans change the environment and that of other living beings by what we do (something like driving a car or eating ice cream on plastic) and the pollution and change of our climate (that means the weather over a long period of time) has become a problem for the world and therefore of course for us. Jolli sees green, takes you on a musical journey and explains more about environmental protection in many exciting song stories. You will hear exciting stories about the forest and about the profession of a natural scientist, while dancing to groovy music. Singer Jorinde Jelen (Jolli) and her band will not only enchant you, but also your parents, grandparents or big siblings. It gets thoughtful when it comes to the pollution of the oceans and climate change, and funny when it comes to regional agriculture, for example. Do you actually know where your delicious French fries and the ketchup on top come from? Jolli's songs invite you to think along, sing along and join in. Dancing, laughing, singing and jumping, you will enjoy an outdoor concert and afterwards know more about our environment and how life in it is connected.
