The (((potentiale))) is a very special artistic research laboratory. The creative reagents with which the artists' city experiments consist of concerts, theater performances, films, the exhibition of works of art, experimental "performances" and a diverse range of interactively structured workshops.

To describe the (((potentiale))) simply as a four-day festival taking place from June 16 to 19, somewhere between Berlin and Hamburg, would not begin to do it justice. For the (((potentiale))) embodies not only a festival, but also an artistic research laboratory. The creative reagents that are experimented with in the beautiful artists' town of Kalbe consist of concerts, theater performances, films, the exhibition of artworks, experimental "performances" and a diverse range of interactively structured workshops. The result of this confluence of the most diverse forms of performance is the opportunity to experience all of these things in one fell swoop after the tiringly long months of lockdown. 

Friends of jazz will be especially pleased about the presence of Steffen Roth, who enriched the Leipziger Jazztage last fall with the Trio Prozessor. Furthermore, the saxophonist Hanne de Backer and the drummer Chris Corsano as well as many other artists will make their appearance. People who value an audiovisual experience are well advised to attend the performance "Metal Illusion". 

The ticket costs 40 euros in advance, but a discounted version is also available for a slim 15 euros. Anyone interested in getting a first impression can do so completely free of charge on Sunday.
