While the supporting program for the opening and closing is already fixed, the MJUZIK Festival has come up with something very special for Saturday: Blind Dates on stage! What does that mean exactly? Buy your tickets and find out!

Pssst. What you're about to read here is a real insider tip. We have used all our investigative journalistic skills to find out that the fourth edition of the MJUZIK festival will take place from June 24 to 26. You want to know who will be performing there? Well, this is hot information that we can't just give out. Because it is to be expected that the concerts on Saturday will have the character of so-called blind dates. This means that shortly before the festival, ensembles with equal representation will be drawn from a select group of up-and-coming artists. These will then appear on the festival stage without any previous experience worth mentioning. But enough of the mystery. On the opening night, the program is simply too good not to advertise it in advance. A double concert will take place in the Philippus Church. On the one hand, this will feature a cooperation between the Vocal Consort and the Asambura Ensemble. On the other hand, Philipp Rumsch (electronics), Matti Oehl (sax) and the lyricist Minna Markert have come together to form a trio on the occasion of the festival. On Sunday, we can look forward to the band Sessiones del Sur at Hostel Eden. The evening will be rounded off by a collaboration of Lancei Dioubate (djembe) and Shaun Gracie (dondoun, sangban, kekeni) from Guinea with Tobi Fröhlich, Philippos Thönes and Uli Hübner.
