The band follows in the tradition of the legendary Quintette du Hot Club de France around guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stéphane Grappelli. However, the main focus is not exclusively on preserving this tradition. The Hot Club writes its own compositions and creates a very special sound. For over 20 years, the band has succeeded in giving "Swing manouche" a permanent place in the cultural life of the city of Leipzig - Karl-Heinz Vogel (g), Thomas Prokein (v), Gunter Pasler (kb), Franziskus Sparsbrod (g) - VVK 15/10€ plus fee.
