Uli Gumpert turns 70 - reason enough to honor the jubilarian with a concert and celebrate with him. Stylistically influential as a composer, arranger and pianist beyond his generation, he stands as a rock in the landscape of German jazz, and is, among other things, the winner of the German Jazz Prize 2005.

In this concert he will now present two of his long-standing duos: first that with saxophonist Silke Eberhard, then that with Baby Sommer. And of course the musicians will also play in a trio.
