The fourth quarter of 2014 is almost over, and it still owes us a concert with the big band of our confidence. The memory of the Jazztage performance at the Schauspielhaus is still very fresh, but of course, in this sour weather, you want to finally back in the cozy living room with the band.

It does us the favor, the Spielvereinigung. And it does so with none other than U.S. composer, arranger and percussionist John Hollenbeck. The head of the Claudia Quintet, celebrated in the USA and Europe, moves across genres, in contemporary jazz, new music and world music. His Large Ensemble, whose compositions he will perform with SpVgg, has been nominated twice for Grammy awards.
