Spielvereinigung Sued feat. Jan Klare "The Dorf "
T ! P
The soccer opera "Das Duell D/NL 74", the chamber opera "Ich war die Krawatte von Prinz Claus" or the "piece for two wind orchestras, a gospel choir, a rock band, church bells and pyrotechnics": since the mid-1980s Jan Klare has been conducting his unconventional "pseudo-sociological field research on listening habits, listening expectations and their manipulation" in theater, literature and dance, and of course in jazz, but also in electronic music and silent film scoring.
With Spielvereinigung Sued he plays the music of his own big band The Dorf. Fat grooves meet intense improvisations of individual band members and sound collages of the whole big band - Klare-appropriately always oscillating nicely between obsession and entertainment, discipline and charlatanry.
