Spielvereinigung Sued feat. Hayden Chisholm
TIP
What a sound! Hayden Chisholm's alto saxophone sings notes that quietly and flexibly snake their way into the most unusual lines. The New Zealand-born cosmopolitan plays as soft as he is full of tension, received the prestigious SWR Jazz Prize in 2013 for his very own sound aesthetic, and was "Improviser in Residence" in Moers in 2015. He traced the German "Sound of Heimat" in the film of the same name, with which he made a guest appearance at the Leipzig Jazztage in 2014. Now he comes to Spielvereinigung Sued with brand new big band compositions, whose quiet, profound beauty will be experienced in very few concerts for the time being. So let's go!
