International Mini Festival in Contemporary Jazz, Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky on the 80th anniversary.
An international mini-festival in contemporary jazz for Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky on his 80th birthday, a musical-theatrical installation of new improvisations and compositions for Friedrich Schenker - Dr. Oliver Schwerdt has come up with great things:Four generations of musicians gathered on one stage, all greats of the Dresden and Berlin, Leipzig and Cologne, London and Brussels scene. Fittingly, the "most dynamic alto sax tornado of the present" (Schwerdt on Petrowsky) then also opens the round with Messrs. Pauer, Edwards, Landfermann and Lillinger. Then two days of festival and/or musical-theatrical installation, who knows, in any case a party - and what a party! 25 instruments, 6 ensembles, 2 blues guitarists and Dietmar Diesner's light. This season already has enough shadows.
