Nils Wogram and Bojan Z
Nils Wogram recently received the most important German jazz prize not only as the youngest musician to date, but also as the first trombonist ever - which should count twice as much in view of the fact that it is the Albert Mangelsdorff Prize. With a wide variety of projects, the Braunschweig native, who lives in Zurich, has already demonstrated his significant position as an instrumentalist, composer and bandleader in Leipzig as well - whether in 2010 with Nostalgia at the Leipziger Jazztage, in 2012 with Root 70 at the Telegraph or earlier this year with SpVgg Sued at the naTo. He now brings his new duo partner, the pianist Bojan Z from Belgrade, who is highly decorated in France and lives in Paris, to Villa Ida. So you can be curious about the premiere of a completely new duo.
