LLÜLL.b r i d u n d ü r°
TIP
Dr. Oliver Schwerth has again found a rather catchy name for his festival presenting contemporary improvised music. On the first evening Frilok Ketel, who presents his first solo album, and Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky with his New Old Luten Trio (with Elan Pauer and Christian Lillinger) play music that Bert Noglik calls "roar and fire, turmoil and enlightenment". To close the festival, the EUPHORIUM_freakestra will play the following day, with two saxophones each from Paris and Leipzig, a trumpet from Dresden, a bass each from Hamburg and London (and Lucerne, respectively), a rhythm section that agreed to play in Beirut - and a university organist who promises Korg, they say.
The top-class LLÜLL.b r i d u n d ü r° pre-concert will be given by none other than the legendary trio around Alexander von Schlippenbach with Evan Parker (ts) and Paul Lovens (dr, perc) on 2.12. at Horns Erben. In the supporting program Petrowsky sideman Elan Pauer presents his solo piano debut album.
