Edge "In the Sugar Factory - Theater Music"
T I P
Kante certainly belonged to the most interesting German-language bands since the mid-90s, but after the first album without Z (after the masterpieces "Zwischen den Orten", "Zweilicht" and "Zombi") called "Die Tiere sind unruhig", of all things, it became - exactly - quiet around the Hamburgers.
Whereby this is not true, of course. First, the silence was already before, yes from the beginning omnipresent in the Kante cosmos. And secondly, the band only turned from the album-tour-album-tour rhythm to the theater: music for "Black Rider", "Antigone" or "Der gute Mensch von Sezuan" was created. Before the new album "In the Sugar Factory" will be released in 2015, Kante is now playing concerts for the first time in 7 years. Two in number, one of them here. What more could you want.
