Advenzz Benefizz Jazz
TIP
The young Leipzig jazz scene is forming and playing a big benefit concert evening on Advent 2. The audience does not have to pay admission, but is asked to donate generously - half of the proceeds will go to the Leipzig Refugee Council and SOS Méditerranée, an organization that rescues refugees from the Mediterranean.
Among others, Philipp Rumsch's 11-piece minimal jazz ensemble, Eva Klesse's Echo award-winning quartet, the Munich-crowned trio PLOT, the trio led by Johannes Bigge, the Leipzig Jazz Young Talent Award winner 2012, the Spielvereinigung pianist Florian Kästner solo, and the two pop-jazz duos Kernich and Sophia&Olga with great female voices will be on stage.
