The third edition of the cross-genre LeipJAZZig festival again links various art forms with contemporary jazz and improvised music. On the first of the three evenings, the Leipzig Saxophone Quartet with Ernst Jandl specialist Jörg Maaß will present the work "Sax-Appeal" by composer Johannes Reiche in the context of words, performance and music. Ten years younger than LSQ, but also already twenty will be the band Tapshot with Jörg Leistner, Thomas Moritz, Wolfram Dix and tap dancer Sebastian Weber, also to be experienced on the first evening.
