Aphex Twin, Sonic Youth and Radiohead united in a Swiss jazz trio: Rusconi, the 2013 Echo Jazz Award-winning live act of the year, who impresses the jazz and indie worlds at the same time.

Namesake Stefan Rusconi (piano, space echo & preparations, backing vocals) likes to listen to Sonic Youth, Paul Bley, James Blake, Flying Lotus and Jason Moran, masters all models of the Aerofly 5 and sometimes has a headache. Fabian Gisler (double bass, distortion & feedback, backing vocals) loves the Dead Kennedys, Oscar Peterson, the Sex Pistols, Richard Strauss and Miles Davis. He drives a Volvo 740 GLE station wagon. Claudio Strüby (Drums, Tape & Glockenspiel, Backing Vocals) is a passionate cook. He sometimes has no budget for vacations, but likes to go to concerts of Nils Wogram, Peter Fox, Keith Jarrett, Becca Stevens and Bonnie "Prince" Billy.
Together, the three men explore the mountains of sound, creating songs, chaos and improvised moods - on their five albums and on their very special concerts.
