For almost 50 years, the two jazz legends Dave Liebman and Richie Beirach have played together again and again in the most diverse constellations: in the legendary fusion band Lookout Farm in the 70s, with the quartet Quest praised by the feuilleton in the 80s - or just in the saxophone-piano duo as now on 5.5. in Leipzig. Their musical telepathy is immortalized on dozens of albums. Both have played with the greats of jazz and are themselves among the most influential musicians on their instruments: Liebman played with Elvin Jones and Miles Davis, Beirach with Stan Getz and Chet Baker.
