The band around singer and trumpeter Lukas Fröhlich releases their German-language funk album "Gib mir den Rest". Three frontmen on horns - besides Fröhlich trumpeter Philip Sindy and saxophonist Lars Dieterich - show how to move the hips to the beat melange of jazz, funk, Balkan sounds and hip hop, and drive keyboardist Martin Hornung, bassist Thomy Jordi and drummer Matthias Trippner to their own flights of fancy. Unconventional songs à la Herbie Hancock's Headhunters and MC Solaar shred with sparkling brass sections, refined arrangements, elegant hooklines and pulsating beats.
