He is a stroke of luck for Leipzig. Not only has saxophonist Johannes Enders strengthened the reputation of the HMT's jazz faction since 2008. His stylistically diverse projects, often featuring legends from overseas, now also make frequent stops locally. With the "Mondvogel" tour, the new trio with Andy Lang (b) and Sebastian Merk (dr) undertakes an exciting journey into known and unknown territories of jazz and contemporary music. Mondvogel is a moth that strives towards the light more robustly than its fellow species. A quite realistic perspective for the new album, which, however, will certainly not be granted a mere three-month lifespan like its namesake.
