Jazzclub Love: Plebeian Love
TIP
Yesterday nothing, tomorrow nothing, today everything: Maike Lindemann and Matthias Kurth write songs about love and other everyday things and transform the Telegraph into Jazzclu Love on this evening. With vocals and guitar, it goes between pop and jazz to blue grass, hip hop and R'n'B. The duo presents its debut album "big sky, little bird" for the first time.
Maike Lindemann has attracted attention in recent years mainly through a capella projects and with the funk band Schwarzkaffee, and was also awarded best R'n'B singer at the German Rock & Pop Awards in 2010. With the vocal project Slixs & Friends she accompanied Bobby McFerrin's last European tour. Matthias Kurth is a versatile guitarist, equally at home in jazz as in rock, pop and world music. With his various formations he has already toured half of Europe and Asia.
