The U.S.-Irish-German quartet from New York layers melodies, sound fragments and rhythms on top of each other, developing into a single large instrument. Who produces which sound is sometimes not exactly. to grasp. The pieces unfold in a collectively generated wall of sound and heavy drum beats, reaching their listeners in dark but elegant beauty.
Saxophonist Charlotte Greve (Lisbeth Quartet) and guitarist Keisuke Matsuno (Trio Schmetterling) perform this music with Dublin-born bassist Simon Jermyn and St. Louis-based drummer Tommy Crane.
