TIP

The double bass player Paul Lapp from Leipzig has made a name for himself in recent years, especially with the band Killerfuchs and in a trio with Philip Frischkorn and Philipp Scholz. For his graduation concert, he is now throwing the rules of addition overboard: From the two different trios and the trumpeter Jan Kaiser he forms a sextet. Three plus three plus one equals six here, crazy. The young musicians from the environment of the HMT devote themselves together to improvisation and freedom in dealing with musical forms and traditions.
