TIP

Let's face it, Robert Lucaciu (kb) and Philipp Scholz (dr) have long since stepped out of row2 and into the forefront. They are the Leipzig Jazz Nachwuchspreisträger 2016 and 2017, nowhere near 30 years old and yet already in demand on every corner. Maybe not "above all", but still "quite decisively" they are also to be understood as a duo. Whereby no, not as a duo, but as a unit, as a heart with four hands. And this heart not only beats, it strokes and plucks and jumps and thinks and feels. Otherwise, how could it lure such crafty hares as Hayden Chisholm (sax) and Jürgen Friedrich (p) into a band that can even breathe under water?
