If you've made up your mind to enjoy the sunset balancing unsecured on the aerial tip of the Uniriesens, you're probably one of those adventure seekers who won't shy away from ordering a water with lemon at the hippest cocktail establishment in town. Luca Sisera must be one of these well-rested types. It's no coincidence that the Swiss double bassist and composer named his quintet Roofer after climbing extreme athletes who risk head and neck for the ideal moment. After numerous tours, festivals and concerts, Roofer has been able to make a name for itself as a daring jazz collective that loves to play and experiment. Expect complex, innovative music that is free, form-conscious and outrageously fearless in equal measure.
