This year Dexter Gordon would have turned 95 - high time to pay tribute to the tenor sax hard bop icon! And what better place to do so than the Flashback Classics series of the Jazzclub Leipzig? Exactly! So young saxophonist Tim Griesbach has formed an illustrious Leipzig quintet that will sound a 2018 interpretation of his album "Clubhouse" with great joy of playing alongside Gordon's originals. Happy Birthday, Long Tall Dex!
