Jazz calendar tip of the week! The release concert for the debut album of the Bertram Burkert Trio. Jazzclub Live, 8:30 p.m. today at the Telegraph. Guitarist Bertram Burkert, who is only 19 years old, has already received the special prize of the Union of German Jazz Musicians for an outstanding original composition and has brought amazingly renowned people into his trio with Matthias Eichhorn and Jan Roth.

Last year the three recorded their debut album "The Eye of the Beholder", which will now be presented live. Joy of playing, interaction and a precise feeling for the mood of improvised music are to be the focus.
