Three musicians are searching for answers to these and many other questions. To do so, they’ll take you—children and adults alike—on a playful journey into the world of film music. On this journey of discovery together, you’ll encounter colorful birds, forgetful scholars, talking pumpkins, hungry zoo animals, and many other wondrous creatures.

Lisa, Philipp, and Johannes bring them to life—through music. Lisa uses her voice to sing. With effects pedals, she can alter her voice, multiply it, and make it sound completely different. Philipp strums the strings of the guitar and bass. Johannes blows and whistles into his assortment of saxophones, clarinets, and flutes. Through sounds and noises, the three of them show you how music can make movie characters seem scary, funny, or sad. Do these dark sounds already foreshadow the next appearance of the main villain? Would we also cry if our heroes and heroines were reunited while the music sounded so beautifully sad?

Dear children, you’ll see movies that are barely older than you are. And others that your grandparents might have seen at the movie theater when they were your age. You’ll see puppets dancing across the screen all on their own. Even worlds made entirely of sand come to life. Your eyes hear and your ears see—an interactive concert experience for young and old alike.
