Evgeny Ring, is one of the most important young talents in Russia.
This is proven by numerous awards, such as the "Russian Jazz Award" and the "International Jazzcompetition" Odessa/Ukraine. Since 2007 he has been studying in Leipzig with Professor Johannes Enders. There he founded the "Evgeny Ring Quartet" with Sascha Stiehler (Leipzig Jazz Award, 1st prize International Jazz Award Straubing, 1st Jütting Award), Philipp Rohmer (Leipzig Jazz Award) and Dominique Ehlert (Soloist Award International Jazz Award Burghausen, German Rock and Pop Award). With these musicians, the choice fell on three of the most striking young talents in Germany.

In over 60 concerts and a tour of Russia, the "Evgeny Ring Quartet" made a name for themselves in the German and Russian jazz scene. They won prizes at the "International Jazz Prize Burghausen" and the "Jazz Competition Hoeilaart Belgium".
