The Leipzig band around saxophonist Evgeny Ring presents its second album. Between traditional structure and modern interpretation, between images of expectation and improvisational free spirit, the four experiment with Ring's compositions. "Each piece has its own unique color that Evgeny composes. And the three of us then mix wildly around in it," says pianist Sascha Stiehler. "And that's how a red in dozens of variations is created." Of course, there are four excellent musicians on stage here - but also just four friends, and so there is also a great trust here that makes great improvisations possible.
