After a concert in Madrid, guitarist Arne Jansen goes to the Prado. Almost out again, he gets stuck on the paintings of Francisco de Goya (figuratively speaking). Distorted faces, abrupt horror and gloomy darkness do not let go of Arne Jansen. Not even when he returned to Berlin. He intensively studies the Spanish court painter and writes and writes and writes. An entire album is created: "The Sleep of Reason - Ode to Goya" becomes Arne Jansen's third record in 2013, his first with ACT. Jansen (among others Jazzanova, Nils Wülker Group, Katja Riemann, Leipziger Jazztage 2012) comes to Leipzig with Andreas Edelmann (among others center) and Eric Schaefer (among others [em] and with his Richard Wagner program at the Leipziger Jazztage 2013).
