Yesterday, Thursday, the co-production of the MDR Radio Choir under the direction of Philipp Ahmann and Jazzclub Leipzig e.V. with the participation of the three composers Theresia Philipp, Andreas Theobald and Florian Ross was awarded the German Jazz Prize in the category "Radio Production of the Year".

We are delighted with this award and would like to thank the jury. Congratulations also from us to all those involved in the project!

The co-production includes a live recording of the first performance, which took place as part of the 47th Leipzig Jazz Days on 19.10.2023 in St. Peter's Church. MDR KULTUR and MDR KLASSIK broadcast the concert on 29.10.2023 from 9 pm in their programs.
